Sections 100-119 are on the  6th & 7th June, 2009  to be held at
The Illawarra Grammar School - Powell Street entrance, Wollongong
Remaining Piano sections will be held during week beginning Tuesday 16 June 2009.

All Senior performers are required to announce their own items at the commencement of their performance.

OPEN PIANO SCHOLARSHIP
Co-sponsored by Redback Music , Rotary Club of Corrimal and
City of Wollongong Eisteddfod.
Time Limit up to 20 minutes.
Prize: 1st - $5,000; 2nd - $1000; 3rd - $500
Entry Fee: $55
The following conditions apply:
a) Competitors must enter and appear in two other piano sections from 113 to 118.
b) OWN CHOICE of 2 contrasting works from different periods.
Repeat performance of works from other sections will NOT be permitted.
c) This competition will not be held unless a minimum of 8 entries are received.
d) The winner of the scholarship will not be eligible to appear in this section again the following year.

101 OPEN CHOPIN PIANO SCHOLARSHIP
Sponsored by Travers Foundation.
Two scholarships are offered one for $1,000 and the second for $500.
Both receive Travers Foundation Trophy and small Chopin bust;
Entry Fee: $33
The following conditions apply:
a) Own choice of any Chopin composition in its original form.
b) Time Limit up to 15 minutes.
c) This competition will not be held unless a minimum of 8 entries are received.

First or Last Movement of any Sonata.

Any work written in the Romantic period excluding

Own choice of any mature Mozart composition

GRADE 8 standard excluding Australian composers.
