Competitors must enter and perform in sections 602 or 603.
Adjudicators will conduct a class, when up to six (6) finalists will be selected and required to perform the following in the Scholarship.
Tap Improvisation
Slow Tap up to 3 minutes
Fast Tap up to 3 minutes
Items already performed may be repeated.
Winner of the Tap Dance Scholarship will be ineligible to compete in this section the following year.
Competitors are to remain in costume until the adjudication.

CHAMPIONSHIPS
       A minimum of six competitors must enter for these sections to be held.
       Competitors must present 2 dances:-
       a) Slow Tap (up to 3 minutes)
       b) Fast Tap (up to 3 minutes)
       Items performed during the Eisteddfod may not be repeated.
       Competitors are to remain in costume until the adjudication.

601 JUNIOR 10 - 12 years only
       Sponsored by Classic Moves of Dapto
       Prizes: 1st - $50; 2nd - $30; 3rd - $20
       Winner also receives $100 voucher to be spent at Classic Moves
       Entry Fee: $8.80
       To qualify competitors must enter and perform in sections as follows:
       10 years 613 and 622
       11 years 614 and 623
       12 years 615 and 624

602 INTERMEDIATE 13 and 14 years only
       Prizes: 1st - $150; 2nd - $100; 3rd - $50
       Entry Fee: $16.50
       To qualify competitors must enter and perform in sections as follows:
       13 years 616 and 625
       14 years 617 and 626

TAP CHAMPIONSHIPS
       A minimum of six competitors must enter for these sections to be held.
       Competitors must present 2 dances:-

603 SENIOR 15 years and over
       Prizes: 1st - $500; 2nd - $125; 3rd - $75
       Entry Fee: $22 
       Time limit: up to 3 minutes each dance.

       To qualify competitors must enter and perform in sections as follows:
       15 years and over 618 and 627

       TAP SOLOS
       Taps must not be worn in any part of the theatre complex except on the stage.

12 years and under:
       Prizes: 1st - Trophy; 2nd and 3rd - Medals
       Entry Fee: $7.70
       13 and 14 years:
       Prizes: 1st - $50; 2nd - $30; 3rd - $20 
       Entry Fee: $8.80
       15 years and over
       Prizes: 1st - $100; 2nd - $60; 3rd - $40
