Competitors must enter and perform in sections 502 or 503.
Adjudicators will conduct a class, when up to six (6) finalists will be selected and required to perform in the Scholarship:
Jazz Improvisation up to 3 minutes
Modern Expressive or Contemporary up to 3 minutes
Song and Dance (Tap or Soft Shoe) up to 4 minutes
Items already performed may be repeated
Winner of this Dance Scholarship will be ineligible to compete in this section the following year.
Competitors are to remain in costume until the adjudication.
CHAMPIONSHIPS
A minimum of six competitors must enter for these sections to be held
Competitors must present:
a) Modern Expressive or Contemporary (up to 3 minutes)
b) Jazz (up to 3 minutes)
Items performed during the Eisteddfod may not be repeated.
Competitors are to remain in costume until the adjudication.
If heats are necessary one dance only will be required for final
and it may be a repeat.
501 JUNIOR 10 - 12 years only
